For. 20 I think you'd need to roll your fenders and get some camber kits for the rear.. And I'm not even sure about dropping it. However one thing I'm sure is you're sacrificing a lot of comfort for looks buddy!

Don't go with 20s. Ride comfort will suffer not to mention the pricing and potential hazards that are associated with it. 19s are pushing it but are definitely do-able. Should be some decent ones for sale in the classifieds.

19 is definitely doable and you won't need to roll your fenders. And especially if you live in an area where the road is nice flat and smooth, then you should be ok..

19 is the max size I would recommend.

most get 8.5 front and 9.5 rear or you can do 10 in rear like sb. has. It'll all depend on offset too if you need to roll your fenders. the highest offset you want for wheels is +35 and lowest is +20 to get the flushed look. I know Roland has a lower offset than that in front but he has 8" front. As for tire size 235 is the widest you can go in front and rears you can maybe squeeze 275. Most will get 235/40/19, 235/35/19, 225/40/19, 225/35/19 for fronts and 255/35/19, 265/35/19, 275/35/19, but you can put 40 series too to get more sidewall.

The PO of my car installed 20" wheels on it. I have had no problems yet. No rubs, rolls clean.

is your car lowered? assuming the OP has the SS c230 20s will rub. Yours is a 4matic and it has #4 pads probably so you have more clearance. There have been previous 4matics with 19s and they look like 4x4s. Post a pic of your car.

I guess I wasnt considering the fact that it is a sport sedan, so it would start out lower. Yeah, mine is a C240 4X4, er, I mean 4Matic. I am not looking to slam it, but I want to drop mine a little since it is at stock height and it is too high.

Thanks
I checked the site out and see a set that will work. Wonder why the 4Matic springs are like 30% more cost than the others?

Are they the only ones that make springs for all wheel drive cars? I know they are popular with the quattro guys.
