Anybody get an invite to this yet? It sounds pretty cool- 2 hours driving Cs (C32 inclusive) around various tracks in dry and wet conditions for a few hours and the best part is that its free! I don't know what the criteria is to get invited, but I imagine if you own a C that qualifies, but the receptionist said that wasn't necessarily a prereq. Anyone know about this/done it before? Sounds like a fun event, I already registered my girlfriend and I a (guests are welcome too.)

I have an ML320 but got an invitation. I've done similar things put on by M-B before and they are lots of fun. My 16-year-old son is going too but can only ride, not drive.

 

Received a tag in the mail. Does anything else go on here? I've already got a C and driven a few others. What else do they do that I can't do at my local dealership? Not hassle about buying I suppose, but I would like to try some of the other MB models. Any chance of that?

 

You'll be able to view the other models (they'll be there), but the only cars you can drive will be the C-class vehicles.

 

It sounds like it will be more informative than a dealer test drive, and more thourogh- I think I read something about driving them through cones and through dry and wet conditions (to showcase ESP I'm sure.) No hassles being a definite bonus too, and being able to drive them back to back w/o questions.
