i use one of the video inputs and mirror my android's screen onto the screen. it feels rejuvenated without getting a new headunit. i highly recommend.

i was thinking of upgrading my avic-D3, but i figured it would only be a matter of time until the next one feels "out-dated"... and headunits are too expensive to replace.
i use one of the video inputs and mirror my android's screen onto the screen. it feels rejuvenated without getting a new headunit. i highly recommend.

I thought that either Nav.tv or media-in-motion had a unit that had a CANBus adapter that sensed the reverse selection. I will try to find the link again, but I remember thinking that it gave A/V input, the CANBus connection, and input for an aftermarket back-up Camera.
