that's exactly the one i have with my avic-D3... unfortunately there is a plastic piece that is right around the camera lens that corroded with the salt during the winter. the rest of it is metal.. hard to explain, but i'll take a picture.

the camera works great and you can tilt it to get the perfect angle in the back. i'll take some pictures.

i was thinking of upgrading my avic-D3, but i figured it would only be a matter of time until the next one feels "out-dated"... and headunits are too expensive to replace.

i use one of the video inputs and mirror my android's screen onto the screen. it feels rejuvenated without getting a new headunit. i highly recommend.

How are you guys running your wires from the outside to the inside of the car? Please show pics the entire route.

drilled a small hole in the back of the rear license plate... and ran the wire into the trunk and under the interior panels to the front.

I thought that either Nav.tv or media-in-motion had a unit that had a CANBus adapter that sensed the reverse selection. I will try to find the link again, but I remember thinking that it gave A/V input, the CANBus connection, and input for an aftermarket back-up Camera.
