Well as AC/DC said, "Shot down in flames, aint it shame, to be shot down in flames".
Went to Beschoff. As it happened, another guy was trying to get rotors for his E55
and had a coupon but wasn't from the forum.
If you read the 1st line of the thing, it says quite clearly, "save $XXX off your next SERVICE".
That being said I need to price a brake fluid flush, they are usually right around $100 and will save you big bucks in the long term
Supposed to be done every 2 years or 50K miles.
So to those of you who got the dealer to sell you parts, I tip my hat to you.
Still more dealers to try though.
EDIT: Well, brake fluid flush is 140.
Anyone had any luck w/ parts only in the bay area?
Amazingly an oil change is only 90, ha not enough for a $100 coupon, but $40 w/ a $50 coupon eh?
The A service is $170 but we all know what a rip that is, only includes
inspections and no parts.
and they have a list of specials including a tranny service for $225.
Of course not likely a full flush.
But it would only cost $125.
I'm 50K miles on from my 1st one.
Maybe the service with 4-5 quarts would be enough?
My tranny has been doing exhibiting some small wierdnesses,
that a flush would like fix.

Umm. Just called Smyth, the brake fluid flush is only $110.
Oil change is 99, had $1 shy of the mark.
I could ask them to replace a screw or something...ha.
Wow, tranny service is $350 to drop the pan and
put in the 4 quarts.
Hey anyone had any luck w/ parts only in the bay area?

2001 C class worked for me and got a $100 coupon. About to make sure everything is 100% on my car this week!!!
Thanks for letting us know about this. Me and my dad can go in with our gift cards together!
EDIT: At the bottom of the fine print it does say that the amount on the coupon is random

2001 E55 AMG (sold)
Awesome. I grabbed a $100 coupon. I hope that I can use it for a spare key. I noticed the coupon specifically says $100 off Service. Was this on the coupons 1st time around? The fine print says parts, labor, or accessories. Has anyone in ATL metro used one of these coupons for parts only? I was going to try Merc of Buckhead since they had one of the lower prices on smart keys last time I called to check.

So, here in the bay area,
I'm hoping we can get a sound off on
which dealerships were willing to do parts & accessories.
San Jose Beschoff- No
Santa Clara Smyth (so expensive!)- ?
Monterey- ?
Fletcher Jones Fremont- ?
San Carlos Autobahn- ? I got a YES from someone on benzworld. But he had to talk to the manager of the dealer.
Mercedes Pleasanton (didn't even know this one existed)- ?
Oakland- Yes!
San Fran - ?
Marin RAB motors-?

I don't understand why some dealerships won't accept these coupons for parts, when it simply states "Offer applies to parts, labor or accessories for Mercedes-Benz vehicles only" in the fine print!!! I think you guys should point that out to the dealerships next time you guys try using it

depending on who is at the register at the parts department... they may or not think it through. so its a gamble.

probably because before that it says... "As our way of thanking you, we're offering $100.00 off your next service appointment at a participating Mercedes-Benz dealer"... so that strongly implies that you use it during a service appointment and that it's billed through the service department instead of directly through parts.

If the service manager approves it, parts counter will accept the coupon. Ask me how I know. :-)
Whoever started this thread, big thanks to that person.

That's what I did. Seriously. The parts counter said they won't accept that coupon. When I pressed on, they suggested I go and talk to the service manager. I did, and he walked with me to the parts counter and approved.

I dropped my 230 off at classic Mercedes in Tyler, TX on Friday, and when I picked it up today I used the $100 to offset my service A. No problem!

I received the 100$ off in my email. Went to freehold MB of new jersey and was DENIED at the parts counter. I pressed like pcy and had them even call the 1800 MBUSA of North America number who confirmed that the car has to be IN FOR SERVICE in order for the 100 to apply. So I scheduled a transmission flush for my manual trans for early next week. Regardless, this is still a great deal.

Still works just fine, but you have to change your email. Pretty sure you could just make up a bogus one without a problem, but I didn't suggest that
Thanks to the OP - this is a Godsend. All the bad karma the stealerships have earned is coming flying back at 'em!
*edit* 2000 S-Class brought up a $100 one right quick.
