Inoperative headlight turn signals - Tool?
This post is regarding the inoperative front turn signals on my 2003 C240 (other models may have this problem also). I know what the problem is, it has to do with the current flowing through the socket in the headlight to the yellow 27W bulb. The socket contacts were improperly designed and burn out causing intermittent contact.
I have purchased a retrofit kit A2038260282 that replaces the socket with a new socket and harness. Installation requires a tool to remove a connector contact from the old connector and install it into the new connector (from the kit).
MY QUESTION -> What is the tool that allow removal of the contact from one connector?
It must be a very simple tool that simply slides over the contact and pushes in the locking clips allowing the wire and contact to be extracted from the old connector.

Installed the 203-826-02-82 retrofit
I started using a VERY small jeweler's screwdriver and pushed in on each side of the contact. That bent the two locking clips flush with the contact and the contact was able to be pulled out. I then bent the two clips out slightly again so they would lock into the new connector.
Everything went together well. The turn signal in the headlight is working great now. I may do the other side for good measure -- I noticed the lamp socket contacts are also burned.
Still it would be nice to know what tool can be used to do this properly.
