2006 C230 Factory Window Tint
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if someone could tell where I can look up the window tint level (in percentage terms) of 2006 C230 Sport Sedan factory windows - windshield, front windows, and rear windows, please.. They come with blue tint.

Its standard Solextra glass. The amount of tint is visually very minimal. Its designed to helps with heat, but doesn't block much of the visible light. You might find info at PPG/PPW's website.

Appreciate your help. I am actually interested whether VLT % of the front windshield is lower than 75% or not. Unfortunately, PGW website has no info on Solextra Vision glass, only Solextra Privacy.
Any help/advice is much appreciated.

I doubt that it is, I would say VLT for the front windshield is very high, >95%. The side windows and rear window have a bit more color but even then I'd say the VLT is higher than a film tint.

Definitely not lower than 75% on any window from the factory. I really doubt its any lower than 90% VLT, maybe higher. It is very subtle.
