Polish vs. Wax
I just want to know the difference between polish and wax. My friend gave me his bottle of Auto Shield (a polish) after we detailed his plane and he said that I should try using this on my benz. His plane looks awesome! I've heard that some people use Zaino or Zymol, whichever? But are those waxes? What's better? What should I do? Thanks!

I could be wrong on this.....but
Polish generally has a 'grit' to it, so that it blends a very slight amount of paint to cover swirls, irregularities, nicks and scrathes. This is generally used as a first treatment before waxing.
A wax is a protective coating that protects and gives the surface a deeper shine. Zaino is a polymer, Zymol is a carnuba...each product does the same task, but in very different ways (check their ad's for details). Some wax even says to apply multiple layers for the best results.
