Went to the [none Mercedes] luxury car dealers tyre department today. Car was pulling left and I thought wheel alignment. It was discovered my left tyre has a leak. Anyways, one of the tyreshop workers said my two rear tyres look like they need to be replaced soon. The tyre dept manager came out and told me he remembers the car from 2 weeks ago (when I bought it) and his team aligned the wheels pre-purchase.
Manager tells me, 'I'll make a quick phone call'. He spoke to the car sales rep and then comes out and tells me 'your getting two new rear tyres gratis!'. The car was sold on consignment by the dealer so they didnt do all the usually pre-sales pampering to it when it was on their lot.
How's that for service? no haggling, no asking just straight away, two new tyres :-) GT Radials but good ones, he says very similar to the continentals I personally like. Booked in for next week.

Yeah that's very nice of the dealer to do that. I must say that dealer in my area is the same way. I'm thankful for that because I know how some dealers can be.
