WEIRD PROBLEM WHEN RAINING

My CEL comes on whenever it is humid outside only. And the funny thing is that AUTOZONE has a policy where they cannont read codes in the rain. And after about 3 run cycles the CEL goes away and it has never came on once when its warm out. Only occassionally when damp/moist? Any ideas? I dont want to bring it to MB just to have a code read and charged for it

can you get the code reader in their tool loaner program and read it yourself?

The code should stay in memory on the OBD. You can read it anytime.

+1 just have the code read when its dry. The CEL stores in the memory until its deleted. Then you can tell use the code and we can narrow it down from there.

The CODE should still be recorded despite it not occuring again. So you better get them check (or check yourself) when it's not raining and see what pops up.

When i took my car in for harsh tranmission shifting in the first 2 gears which im living with for the rest of my life. they told me the CPS sensor came up 125x times but kept going on away on its own. It was one loooooooooong print out let me tell you. Maybe thats it?
