05' 230 hit-should I part it out or fix it
Hello,
I have a 2005 C230 dark blue\light grey interior with 103k miles. Very nice shape inside and outside.
I had someone rear end me on the passenger side. Estimate to fix it is aprox 7700 bucks. I dont know if I should get it fixed or take the 7700 and part out the car. I have no idea what I could get if I parted out the car. Any thoughts.

here in California, if you buy it back to fix it, it will have to have a salvage title.
if you are able to buy it back and part it, you could make a little more money.

with 7700, a part out, and a couple thousand bucks you could find a c32 or c55 in pretty good condition. that is, if you find one, they're not the easiest to find, at least around my area.
i don't think 7700 is enough to total it, the other person who rear ended you's insurance should pay to fix it all right?
