the so called amg projectors are most likely e55 projectors. Output isn't that great. I retrofitted my girlfriends rsx with them and they are okay. the spread isn't too wide and intensity is focused. They also come with a fresnel lens so the cutoff isn't very sharp, but this can be replaced with an optically clear lens.
Also the e55 projectors are available in both bix and single xenon, but most on the market are bix.

how many of the mounting points did you break? If you only broke one, it's still salvageable. To mount those you need to use metal mounting brackets from home depot shown below.

thanks fookoo, i did not break the mounting points, I broke the frame on which the mounting points are located, since I cut the bottom part of the frame it was weak already, and when I tried to flex it a bit to squeeze the projectors in it just broke/collapsed. I know what u are suggesting, I could have used the kit above but the projectros mounting holes were too close and would not have allowed or given me enough room to get the brackets in....I know what you are saying " to use the bracket's to piggy back onto the mounting holes..."
any ways now will have to buy a cheap eagle eyes housing if phister would confirm the fitment..........
thankx

Sorry to hear about the mishap Jaavvy, but goodluck on the projects guys, the morimoto should fit directly on to the oem. One question though, will it eventually heat up and melt the top divider between the turn signal compartment and the main headlamp compartment since it looks like its sitting very close, if not sticking on it..
