Rear passenger door lock problem
Noob here, searched and found nothing for my problem. I've got a 2006 C230 and my rear passenger door lock is broken. The thing you push down to lock the door fell off, and even with the key unlock or unlock button inside, the door will not unlock. Help?

I think your best bet would be to take the door panel off and see if whats going on. If you can hear the mechanism working then Maybe the pin is getting caught up on something and isn't sliding into the hole.
If you can't hear anything then maybe a blown locking mechanism.

Thanks for the reply. Could I probably find a diagram around here with all of the screw locations or would it probably be easy enough to find them?

Yeah you should take the door panel down, the lock mechanism is broken or out of place. Once you open the panel you will need to take the mechanism thingy that latches your door to your car. Getting it out is abit tricky and be prepared with a flashlight..

Here's my DIY, feel free to pm me questions. I remember reading that, the door lock can be fixed by replacing the spring inside of the actual lock, but I never tried it and just bought a new lock. This job is a bit tough, but with the right tools and the will to do it, you should be able to do it.
