Parking mirrors

Is it possible to adjust the parked position of the mirrors. The drivers side comes in a bit to far and rubs on the door. C320

Sorry. When the side mirrors are parked so they dont stick out. The drivers side is moving too far and colliding with the door.

Oh you have power folding mirrors? They must be on incorrectly because that shouldn't happen. Not many of us have expirience with power folding mirrors because they weren't really a USDM feature.

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
The motor has mechamical stops. The electronics in the door module receive the move command from the front SAM and DC of the correct polarity is sent to the motor. The motor moves until it hits the mechanical stop. At this point the current rises quickly and a comparator in the door module signals the front SAM to cut the power.

If the mirror housing is hitting the body, it is probably because some schlemiel has bumped into your folded mirror and bent the frame so the stop is not halting the movement, the door panel is doing it.

Get a new frame from a salvage yard. You can put your housing and glass from the existing frame onto the new one.
