Passenger side view mirror problem

Problem: I'm trying to get the mirror to go down when I put the gear select in reverse. It used to go down last year but this year it won't go down as it should. Instead, it moves a little bit to the right and just a hair downwards. The mirror selector is on passenger and I have the mirror down option enabled. It's obviously TRYING to do something when I put it in reverse but it's not working correctly.

What I've tried:

1) Took the motor assembly out and sprayed lube on the gears
2) Used the arrow controls to move the mirror to each extreme
3) Moved the mirror to each extreme manually by pushing the mirror around
4) When I used the memory selector, choices 1, 2, and 3 all go to their correct positions

Is there something I'm unaware of?

I got it. I guess this happened because the battery had been pulled out...

To store passenger mirror parking position:
1. The vehicle must be stationary.
Turn the electronic key in starter switch to
position 1 or 2 and put the gear shifter into Reverse.
2. Select passenger side mirror& and adjust the
mirror to view the curb.
3. Push the memory button “M” (4).
4. Within 3 seconds push bottom of adjustment
button (3).
The mirror should not move.
Repeat the memory procedure if the mirror moves.
Note:
One stored parking position is available for each of the
two electronic keys.
This is only possible if you select “ON” in the menu
“SETTINGS KEY-DEPENDENT”. Refer to individual
setting menu “CONVENIENCE” – “

Nope, only realized I had this issue a couple months ago, but it's all gone now

Now my problem is that the driver's side BiX won't auto level. It's aimed down at the ground while the passenger side auto level works.

I would say check the sensors on the sway first. Second test headlight on other side to see if the motor is ok. and as always check all connectors.
