Light wheels
Hey do anyone have wheels under 20 lbs on there c class. If so how does the car feel faster etc... Thanks

I can tell you I had heavier wheels on and it made the car feel a whole hellaofalot SLOWER!
Went back to OEM and much happier. Altho it's pretty hard to find reasonable priced Lightweight wheels.
I think the best deal/looks/price that I've found is these so far:

I know this shouldn't be compared and I should weight them but when I was having my wheels painted I was rocking my stock wheels. I headed out to the drag strip and I was getting same times as stock wheels. I should weight them and see.
Wheels are unsprung weight. Someone please correct me but I heard it's 4:1.

My 18" OZ Ultraleggeras are 18.6 lbs each. Start by going to Tirerack and looking at their options; there are several under 20 lbs.
And yes, when I go back to stock for the winter, it always feels so slow.

It feels that way on my butt dyno, but then again, my summer rubber is gripper, my summer tires are wider, etc.
Grassroots Motorsports had a very interesting article where they looked at this issue again , and didn't find any significant differences in course times. They're about the best rag on these kinds of issues, though I still have a hard time believing the results totally.

my forgestars are about 19lbs. You can definitely tell the difference from the stock ones when youre holding it, but on the car I would say the difference is subtle. I think my car feels a little quicker of the line but it might be in my head lol
