factory hid ballast
I was wondering if anyones ballast goes out. Last year my driver side ballast went out, and today i just changed out the passenger side.
So heres my question, Is this common on xenon ballast?

Cheap DDM or eBay ballasts have a life span of a year or two. OEM should be a lot longer, but considering your car is 6+- years old, and how the BIX might've been used all the time even for daylight driving, then it is probably normal.
