I used it my 3000 gt and it worked. I think the head was cracked, the car was missing real bad and would barely drive and i was 200 miles from home...tried new water pump before i realized the was water in the oil...used the blue devil and you let it idle for like an hour, you can actually hear the car changing, being repaired. The car went from a real bad miss to purring like a kitten. It does work!!!

Revisiting this years later, I still have not done anything, but Scotty Kilmer makes a good point.
On the liquid glass stuff like Blue Devil
a. You must flush your coolant COMPLETELY like over and over
b. remove the thermostat and lastly
c. there cannot not be ANY coolant in the oil!!!
Or it will seize the engine!!
Hmm...guess I'll just keep putting coolant in and doing more frequent oil changes.
Got an oil overfull once, I assume coolant getting in the oil, so now I do it every 5K or so.
Still no mayo thankfully.

One might change the oil before and after, maybe just use non syn since it's going to get tossed anyway.
But still a chance you could kill the engine instead of fixing it if any coolant is in the oil!

I can't tolerate Scotty Kilmer, but SamCrac did it on his 996 with good results. I totally agree with your statement on procedure.
