Haven't been around much lately, but I am pondering a small mod to the Coupe. The OEM headlight assemblies have clouded beyond repair with the Meguiars headlight restoration kit. I don't want to risk HID's on this car as the electrical is getting a bit flakey (I have a phantom drain I can't find so it's on a trickle charger nightly). I saw these when I was searching for replacement coil packs. Anybody used these or another non-HID solution other than the OE Hellas?

Yes I STFF'ed and the last thread on this was 2009. Son is likely getting the Coupe soon, so I want safe headlights on it.

Well those light won't work for the coupe sadly.
As for the electrical drain do you have electric seats? if not it could also be the overhead console where the sunroof controls are.
So Tuscaloosa I might be moving there next month.

On the electrical drain, I have pulled the battery lead and bridged in my old Radio Shack Multimeter in current mode and got no current with key out of ignition. May have to raid my late Dad's shop for the Amp Probe - it just loops around the wire and reads the current from the generated magnetic field. No disassembly required.

Looks like you are right on the lights - Same Anzo part number as for the C240 and I know they are different (as I had a C240 leased awhile back and had them side by side to compare).

So, any other options other than the ugly overpriced OE ones?

You have three options really. Bix for coupes winch are the factory xenon projector lights. You could buy the same ones you have and if you are lucky you can fine the clear coupe lights but they are rare.
