How to put on the glass mirror? c230
I bought a 2007 c230 and it needs a new glass mirror. Does the mirror just clip on to the plastic part on the motor, doesn't look like it screws on?
I haven't bought the mirror yet need to make sure i don't need anything extra
a drawing of the assembly would be great

Is the mirror the inside rear-view mirror or is it one of the outside rear-view mirrors?
If it is one of the outside mirror glass, wait until you see the price of the replacement. Most have a heated element, which leads to the high price. You may want to see if you can locate one in a salvage yard before going to get a new one. It will save you the heart attack when they tell you the price.

"Yes, it just clips on. If all that is broken is the glass, then that's the only part you need. You hook it on the bottom first, then connect the spring clip at the top. The glass is about $115 retail."

The mirror I found is missing the 2 metal tabs that clip in the mirror housing, any idea where I might find those?
