Mercedes dealership experience
Service took place at Mercedes Benz St. John's Newfoundland Canada.
Had an appointment for 9am, got there at 8:45. Waited and waited till 10am rolled around and someone came out to tell me they were running late. Little before 11am they took my car in. Why schedule me for 9am when they can't get me in till 11? The dealership is about an hour away so i couldn't just drop my car off and go home.
Anyways they took the car in at 11am, i was having the service B plus the combination switch needed replaced (under warranty) They had it in the garage maybe another 2 hours or so. From what they tell me the combination switch is a fairly long job.
After they were done, they told me the car was in fine shape and needed nothing that they could tell, wipers were replaced but that was all. The total for the Service B was $363.86. A fair price as i told them to go over the car as much as possible and if anything needed replaced go for it as the car is under warranty for another 8k KM.
Other then the wait, i found them to be great. They checked in with me every 45mins, offered snacks and coffee ect. Don't think i'll be going back for the next service, only because even at that low price, I'd rather do it myself and save some $$$.
Oh and they have a nice 50 inch tv in the waiting area as well, while i was there "The View" was on
The girl at the desk must have felt bad for me as she came over and offered the remote lol.

BTW, I fly into St Johns every now and then with United/Continental Airlines. One time it was snowing pretty good, and another time it was pouring rain. One of these times, I hope to see the city as I fly in.
