Anyone using Focal speakers in '07 or similar?
Just curious...I demo'd some Focal 165VB's in Vegas a couple days ago but we don't have a vendor for Focal up here in good 'ol Utah. Crutchfield says the 165's won't fit and actually says 5 1/4's for front and rears in Focal.
Anyone using or done any installs with Focal that could shed some light on what will fit?
Thanks!

You can probably make them fit but you'll have to cut the door to make the 165s fit. Most speakers are the same when it comes to fitment but you hae to look at how the depth is on the speaker. But looking at crutchfields site the way they Focal are designed I think you can only do 5 1/4 in the focals
I have Polk Audio components and I'm running 6 1/2" fronts and rears.

I'm a fan of Eclipse, Memphis Audio, and Polk mainly. I have Eclipse HU and amps, Polk components, and Memphis sub lol I did have all eclipse but sold sub to Mike and got a good deal on the polks.

Polk would probably be my next choice...and might be my first if I have to drop to 5 1/4's. Just not willing to give up the extra mid.
