Where are serial numbers located on W203 Coupe Headlights?

Where are serial numbers located on W203 Coupe Headlights?
I'm trying to find out exactly where on the headlights the serial numbers are located. Not the numbers on the ballast. Also Is the s/n on the same location for all headlight styles (clear/frosted/biX)?

SN? I don't think the headlights have a SN. Do you mean a Part number?

I meant the mercedes part #, sorry (like the 203 xxx xxxx)

With my lights you can usually get the PN off a sticker on the top inside above connector see second picture on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ORIGI...Q5fAccessories

Use caution when taking a number from a part. The number on the headlight is not always the number used by the spare parts system. The parts often change, and some are country specific, like headlights.

The safest way to discover the correct part number is to plug your VIN into the online Electronic Parts Catalog. That way you will not waste time if the part has been improved and superceded.
