Automatic door locking

I don't know if it's just my car, but my coupe's doors don't lock
automatically when i just leave them alone.
I think I've saw that it should automatically lock after 45 second or so.....
Anybody have this problem?

It will lock automatically ONLY IF you unlock the car but didnt open the doors or trunk. If you park yr car, shut off the engine, close the door and walk away, it will NOT auto-lock.

They lock at 5mph if you have the function turned on, as described in the manual :-) Assuming its same as the rest of the MB cars, hold down the top of the central locking button on the dashboard for about 15 seconds with the car running to enable it. (or was it the bottom of the button). Doing the same with the otherside turns it off.

The function to open one [or all] of the doors when you press the unlock button for the first time is selectable by holding things down on the key itself. Again, see the manual for more details

They also lock if you open the car with the keys but dont get in within a short while. (i.e you pressed the open button by mistake and didnt know U did)

I dunno if theres any other features on the C class

On the coupe the 5mph locking is done through the steering wheel buttons and instrument display.

Harris is right on the automatic door locking. I tried so many times already. The car will lock the doors in about 45 secs, if you don't open a door or trunk after you unlock the car.
Benzonmonterey is right too. You can turn on/off the 5mph locking option using the steering wheel buttons.
So Harpax, check it yourself.

Not to be critical, but it's actually 9 mph on the Coupe. Why MB picked 9, who knows.

9 MPH roughly equals 15 KPH
