You don't really NEED new high beams. HIDs are ultimately for show, while the high beams on your car serve a purpose.

I spent $70 total on HIDs for my low beams and fogs from eBay. I love them, they are super bright. So far so good with them.

 

Hids aren't for show, they produce a wider and further lighting pattern than halogens do. Now temp on hids bulb is a different story. Once you pass 6k temp your lightening output diminishes. 4300k is closest to natural light and produce the most visibility at night. Now pairing them with projectors is the correct thing to do so that you have a cutoff and dont blind on coming traffic.

600 for OEM bi xenon are a good price and pretty hard find for the coupes.

 

Yeah I know.... I wasn't thinking when I posted that, but what I did mean to say is that he doesn't need to spend the extra money on high beams unless he really wants to. My stock high beams are still brighter than my HIDs.

I think you have frosted headlights, theres no clearing those. If you do hang around here long enough you will end up getting Bi-xenon.

 

 

but i already ordered the xenons...

and the seats will be done soon. I Think like 2 more days or something like that, but it WILL be done asap, and i WILL post pics

Speedy recovery to you. I used to have HIDs on my frosties (note that it's what people call the OEM headlights, and as been said, it doesn't indicate that it needs to be polished), and the light was dispersed, but generally ok.

As a former Gucci employee, I applaud your efforts.

Good luck on your search for low-cost HP upgrades for your car. In my experience, the MB has the highest cost per horsepower of just about any other car. Be prepared to spend money if you want the increase.

My 2005 C230 (M271 engine) has all Kleemann products such as the boost kit and the header/cat installed. I love the power increase, but it cost a fair bit of money.

Too bad you have a coupe. I have a set on practically-new set of halogen lights with the clear lenses for sale; I have a sedan, so it wount fit yours.

Anway.

1. They released me from the hospitol today.
2. I ordered the visors.
3. The Hide-A-Way license plates came in.
4. I checked up on my interior, it looks good, they said it'll be done within the next 3 days...they ran out of material and ordered more.
5. My neons are commin in soon.
6. Might be buying rims soon.
7. HID's are lagging it a bit aswell :/


anyway, tomorrow is my bday, and im not really gonna be on here. sorry, but BY august 5th Everything should be in place
