Tail Lights
Alright guys. My the 2007 C230. Are all the tailights the same across even the rear fog lamp? Because i'm looking at all the bulbs and they are double filament. And the reason why I ask is because my rear fog is no longer working and im swapping bulbs to figure out why? I cant seem to figure it out so im just going to replace all 4 and see what happens from there

I hope someone will correct me if I am wrong, I believe they are all double filament because the second filament lights up with brake lights. if you stand behind the car and count from left to right it should be bulb 2 that is the fog light (inside of driver side) and the second filament is lit when braking or if the rear fog switch is on.

The only Brake lights are the spoiler and the two single filament bulbs ontop

In addition you will find a double filament bulb in the tail light on the right side, but it is not used for anything (for us).
The bulb carriers are identical from side to side, so the bulb that fits is the dual filament. I would assume that way they can use the same bulb carrier for LH or RH drive (their rear fog is on the opposite side, is it not?)
