I can't find a thread anywhere that says how to remove the turn signal lens from my side view mirrors. if anyone can tell me how this is done or point out a thread with this info I would appreciate it.

Push the mirror housing toward the rear of the car. Be careful because the spring is very strong. Keep your fingers out of the way in case you loose your grip and it springs back. Looking into the opening there is a silvery flat metal spring clip holding the housing in place. Using a flat screwdriver push the tab on the clip toward the body of the car. The housing can now be pulled off. Pull it just a little bit, then allow the spring to return the mirror hinge to the normal position. Take the cover off the rest of the way. To reassemble, simply push it on until the spring clip clicks. Mind the alignment of the LED assembly connector as you push it on.

thanks. it seems really simple from your description. now I am embarrassed that I asked. I prob could have figured that out. lol
