will it throw code on c230 '05 if I remove my cat?

I am thinking to remove my cat, but I need to make sure if it's save for later on (the emission check). Will it throw a code on the car if I remove the cat?

Thanks

It's not the cat that throws the code, its the aft o2 sensor that end up throwing the code once the cat is removed. On some cars, people have used spark plug non- foulers to space the o2 sensor further out in order to get it to not throw codes, Some people use resistors to alter the signal that the o2 sensor sends out and some people have altogether moved thier o2 sensors into the engine compartment for the desired resluts. The lucky cars have a programmer that can "delete" (if you will) the rear sensor so it doens't throw codes.

I'm not sure if anyone here has tried any of theses things, but im sure a quick search would show you!
