17" wheels for 2001 C320

I am looking for 17" tires and wheels. I thought about putting C32 AMG wheels on, but, the dealer told me they would not fit. Is this true? I was interested in thos wheels and the 7 spoke that comes with the sport package on the c class.

Both of those wheels WILL fit, and they both look really good. You should definitely switch to one of those two.

Thanks for the quick response. My wife likes the AMG wheels and I like the the wheels from the sport package. Will buy one of the 2 as soon as I can find a good deal, then I will need tires.
The dealer tried to sell me a set of 17" wheels that I didn't like. Looked like a style from an older MB. The cost was going to be 1800 plus 235 per tire for Michilen pilot z rated tires. Good deal heh ????

Sounds to me like the dealer is just trying to make some extra cash off you. Any wheels that fit the C32 will fit your car.

Thanks for the help, thats what I thought. I just got the car and I have a few upgrades I want to do. First is tires and wheels, Bi-Xenon and a rear spoiler.
I have a C320, with cd changer power sun roof with power rear sun shade, memory seats. Since I bought used, I didn't have much choice of options. This is my first MB, I have had cadillacs with v8s before. I am really impressed with the workmanship and warrenty I have, 3 years or 1000,000 miles. I am looking to put a few if the upgrade on before taking it on a trip this summer. I would really like the nav system. I am a sucker for gadgets. The more options I can get (afford) the better I like it.

If you go with the C32 wheels, you can get them from TireRack, and it's usually pretty hard to beat TireRack's prices. As for tires, the Michelins are good, but they're pretty expensive. You can get good tires for much less money. Look at Yokohama AVS ES100 or AVS Sport, or Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position. Or even if you do want the Michelins, they are $177 at TireRack, or $195 if you go with the wider rears. Oh, and as for wheels, they are $349 at TireRack, so that's 1400 instead of 1800. And they will even mount and balance them for free before they ship them. All you have to do is bolt them on.
