Stolen Square !!!

You guys wouldn't believe what was stolen on my car. I just finished washing my car and I drove it to the store. I always look back at my car when I lock it so I see the lights blink 3 times. When I come back, that little square on the front bumper that covers the tow hook is gone. I couldn't believe it. I would of believed it had fallen off, but I know it was there when I went inside. Now I have this big black open spot on my front bumper. I called the dealership, and they want $20 for that little square and they have to order it. Never would of thought that it would get taken. Pit-a-ful

Wow, just sucks.

Wish there were a way you could keep your dog out by your car.

$20 isn't too bad, and I doubt anyone's gonna steal it again, so, oh well It's better than what happened to my friend's BMW! He had his emblem stolen at least 10 times over the year. Everywhere he goes, people start taking his emblem. Sometimes they scratch up the paint too. After a while he started to drive his dad's jaguar instead, and he got that Jaguar emblem stolen too. Someone must be out to get him.

I went to see the Italian Job on Sunday. I drove there in my GTI and when I came back the little VW emblem (plastic cover) that goes in the middle of the wheel was gone on the right rear tire...the front one was half hanging out, almost like they almost got it but then ran...at least looking at the upside, they didn't scratch the wheels

wow mad haters where u guys live

i was thinking about converting my stand up star emblem to a flat hood one so i wouldnt be a victim of some punk kid using it as a necklace.

but in my 1.5 years of owning the car ive never had anyone mess with it. ive kinda grown acusomed to that look too. the first thing ppl notice when they sit in my car is the nice benz star on the front of hte hood

just curious but what area do u guys live where that kinda theft/vandalism is happening?

Well, I live out in the middle of nowhere and I never had problems there, but the movie theater was a first for me, it is in a good neighborhood, brand new, IMAX, even valet parking (if you want to pay $8 to have someone park your car when you see a $6.50 movie )

Well that is the cheap price for the early shows. I watched the movie around 2pm, thinking that there are less people, I had trouble finding a seat 15 minutes before the movie started

Home: nice area, beautiful houses, and what seem to be spoiled rich brats running around causing problems. Christmas wreath stolen, numerous small thefts and vandalism around the area.

Work: decent area, lotsa professional-type people, and what seem to be bored-with-playstation brats running around causing problems. Star nearly ripped off, was fixed by our sales rep.

Same case here. I was just talking to some people sitting next to me when I was watching Nemo. Turns out that their neighbourhood had some random kids slashing up people's tires too. And from the sounds of it, it seems an even more upscale neighbourhood than where I live. That kid drives a M5 which is his "beater" (maybe he's just showing off).

Tell me about it. I live in Fort Worth. There is not much or this around my neighborhood, but I guess every dog has his day. That would of been the one thing on the car that I thought was safe. Guess Not....
