How to connect iphone/ipad to 2003 C class?
This is what I have, plus the 6 disks changer in glove compartment:

I am thinking of adding an iPad for SatNav and music server. How do I connect the iPad to the Merc's existing audio system?
I think the most basic would be thru the cassette player, but sound sucks and not being USB, it wouldn't charge the iPad. Any better way to connect them?
Thanks for helping.

Looking for a way to play your iPod in the car, plus keep it charged while you drive? The Scosche IPFMRDS iPod interface connects directly to your stereo's FM antenna, giving you great sound with minimal fuss. And your iPod stays charged as you drive, even newer 5-volt models.
The IPFMRDS interrupts the FM broadcast signal automatically whenever your iPod is connected, so no switch is needed. You connect your iPod using the included 30-pin connector and choose one of four FM frequencies to further protect against any interference. Use your iPod's click wheel to control your tunes and show song info on your compatible radio's display. Warranty: 1 year.
