just wondering about the engine sound of c230k (coupe or sedan), is it louder than the v6 engine? or it's about the same?

 

Seems quite a bit louder to us, and has that high-pitched whine too. No problem at all from the inside, but very noticeable from the outside. hth

 

yea, when i rolled down my window i can hear the noise... and sometimes when i put on to the reverse gear, the noise is even louder (sort of like an cluck-cluck sound).....

 

Maybe some tech people (Lynn anywhere? Others?) could tell what the sound is when reversing? I haven't noticed it, but haven't really listened either.

After getting up to speed, the engine's usually quieter (supercharger not working as hard?).
