Opinions on the Carfax for this 2007 C230

I saw this C230 listed on autotrader, but the Carfax seems weird to me. I haven't seen this on other models I've checked out.

It looks like 6 months after buying a bunch of stuff was replaced/maintenance was preformed that just seems odd to have done 6 months after purchasing a car. It's listed as 1 owner (4 years).

Anyone have any opinions on this?

Thanks.

Look at it as a good thing actually. that's sort of normal.

It seems odd that it needed so much work when it was brand new. As michael says, it could be a good thing that they got all that done. After that only recommended maintenance was performed so I would think it's pretty clean. But I have to wonder why such low mileage? I wouldn't think that somebody would just park such an expensive car because they were tired of dealing with it. If it drives well, it will probably be a good car. If you can take it to a reputable shop to inspect it, that would be best. I wonder if you can get Benson to tell you anything. They should have records but they may not want to show them to you.

Funny that's my old stomping grounds...

There are plenty of clean and nicely depreciated ‘07s available. It’ll behoove you to be selective.

“Engine/powertrain computer/module reprogrammed” is de rigueur during dealership visits.
They’re typically for EPA emission compliance or the oft-recalcitrant 7-speed gearbox fixes.

A VMI from your prospective SA and, more importantly, a thorough PPI performed by a competent technician is far more telling than anything CarFax offers.
