ESP problem

Ive noticed lately at a certain spot that I drive by the ESP light comes on and stops me from revving past 45 mph. Its a highway with a 45 mph limit and a slight uphill and out of nowhere the ESP light starts popping on for about 5 seconds and doesnt let me go past 45, any idea whats going on? It also happened to me at a different spot today which got me worried a little

Something very similar happened to Edmunds.com's long term 2004 Prius a couple of years back. They had to have the ESP module replaced.

I cant imagine what it could be, maybe loose gravel on the pavement, I keep checking that spot and I dont see anything unusual though. Maybe some sort of radio waves or something? Just keeps happening at the same exact spot on the highway every day

Any communication towers nearby ?

It would be interesting to check your mobile phone for interference & reception. Any interference on your car radio ?

I would try slight de-accelleration over the spot to make sure there is no wheel spin.

My esp comes on at the same spot but I am climbing a steep loose gravel hill.
