I have a 2004 C240, my instument cluster color turned red and it is saying that my steering wheel is not locked, and it doesnt lock. Because it doesn't lock the wheel goes up/down and in/out.

I am looking for sme help on fixing this myself.

I am having a problem with the Latch on the Steering wheel. I adjusted it and then it would not latch to close.. Now all I have is a red light that says it needs to be adjusted/locked. Can someone advise me how to do this? I'm hoping it is something i can do myself.
