Decisions decisions...

Hey, i'd just like to say hi as im new to the forum. I used to have a VW Mk4 Golf but it is time for change!

I've just bought some 18"x10" amg wheels and have come across the problem of fitment on the front as unlike me, you all seem to be aware of!

I really like the wheels i have bought, although the only option seems to be keeping two wheels for the rear, and buy two narrower wheels. The only ones i have found are not split rims although they have silver centres and a polished lip likening the current rims i have.

(I apologise for those who have seen this picture a few hundred times today!)

Has anyone seen rear splits with non front splits..
Please can i have opinions on how this would look.

Thanks in advanced,
Lloyd.

Instead of buying new fronts why dont you buy different barrels for the fronts wheels. Thats the plus of having multi piece wheels, you can change the barrel widths. Can you take a full front picture of the wheel. You can always call the manufacturer and see if they can change the barrel if you feel more comfortable them doing it.

10 inch rims are really wide. I have 8 wide up front and when I went to space them out 10mm they past the front fender.

Do you have any pictures? I think 8J would be the way to go, i dont think a smaller dish size will reduce the width enough to be honest .

How much stretch do you have on the 8's.
