Talking Finally saw my leather in person

The three-tone looks awesome! Can't wait until Monday.

One dumb thing on my part was the stitching. For some apparent reason not explained by alcohol, I was under the impression that the kit wasn't pre-stitched when they received it here. But, of course, it was. So, they went ahead and used a dark charcoal that matched the vinyl. Which is fine, because any other color would be overcomplicating things, I think (or is that, I rationalize?)

I should have some pics by Tueday or Wednesday. I'll mention renncpe's comments about the padding to them when I drop it off.

Sounds great. I was wondering if that was what you thought. The leather comes prestitched. they just fit it over the exisiting seat minus the cloth.

Yes, I am officially an idiot. Oh well. Thanks again for all of the help, especially for not telling me that I was being too **** at any time in this process.

The headrests looked so cute in the silver/charcoal combo.

Is that your chocolate lab, or are you just going through all of your pics on your c drive? Those are great dogs. I used to have a basenji, though - like mute Jack Russells.

Any tips on any treatment that I should do shortly after getting it back?

No my labs have all grown up and passed on. I am working on getting another.

You weren't **** I think it's great you discussed it and got alot of input.

When first installed mine seemed a little hard feeling, so I put a leather conditioner on it. The shine really came out and it softens it nicely

so you had the seat fronts in Blue with silver
and the backs in charcoal?

Then the headrests are silver and charcoal is that correct?

Yep, that's right. The only bad things about Monday are that I'm working on year-end crap, so I don't get our company holiday (I'll get a comp day, though, which I'll use when I start interviewing), and I'll have a nice 30-min walk to Avis from CST. I'll have a beautiful Focus waiting for me, though.
