20" rims on 07 c230 sport

I have an 07 c230 sport and had 19''s on it but they looked pretty small. Im not going for a ghetto look at all but a set of AMG reps in 20's would look sweet. As long as i stick with the same offset and width as the 19's then they should fit without a problem cuz i dont have any issues now. I dont plan on lowering the car so i want to fill in the wheel well. What i want to know is from your experience seeing 20s on these cars does it make the car look like its riding higher or does it look good on stock sport suspension. And yes, im looking for opinions here.

They'll look awful and out of place. 19s on these cars is already pushing it and putting 20s on is simply asking for trouble. Aesthetics are good and all but having them 'fit' will be the least of your concerns. You're going to increase unsprung weight, increase the strain on the wheel bearings, increase the weight your brakes need to stop, stiffen up your suspension(if not ruin some components entirely) in certain driving situations, etc.

how do 19's look "small" on our cars? 18s look perfect to me. But with 20s as sb said its going to put alot of stress on your braking system and over work them when you try to stop. You're adding more required stopping distance when you add larger wheels unless you buy some light forged wheels. When I had the 18 CLS wheels my wheel gap was about 1-2 finger gap on the SS suspension.

Don't go 20s. The ride will absolutely horrendous. Unless the car is primarily for show (and no go)...

a quarter mile at a time
20"s are just too big, you end up having to use odd tire sizes.

Not to mention the cost of the 20 inch tires would be ridiculous!

Nothing wrong with 20"s its a c230 not a c32 or c55 then I would say no way on 20"s I have 20"s staggered on my c240 and they look good to me its not made to be fast its just for looks, everyone has their on taste on styles nobody should judge, just support everyone on their ideas I think

I agree on the support part. Nothing wrong w/ 20s.
Just from my own personal experience (with 19s), I wish I went with 18s.
Yea, it looks good (19s that is), but it is still a benz and should ride rather comfortably.

Im with u anth 19" or even 18"s are a comfortable ride just less of a lip if ur running any because the wider the lip the smaller the wheel looks

There's a Black C230 Sedan, Stock height, with some plain Jane 5 spoke 20" wheels mounted under it, sitting at one of those Buy Here/Pay Here places in Sarasota.
They park the car out by the road for advertisment pretty much everyday, So Monday as I drive by while working, I'll try to take a pic to post on here for you.
In my opinion The wheels look So Rediculously Out Of Place!

20" = Don't Do It!

Thanks for the input. My 19s ride really well. I'm gonna stick with 19's just go with a different style that doesnt have a lip like the cls amg 5 spokes or something similar. like these

I did this back in 2007/2008. Didn't run into any issues, even lowered pretty aggressively on Tein coilovers. Would I do it again? Probably not. The ride was fine, but if you were commuting anywhere further than 100 miles you would get super paranoid.

Pics can be found in this link..(old for sale ad from a few years back)
