2007 C230 Sport
Hello, owner with a question.

Hello all. I just purchased my 07 230 Sport and love the car. Traded in my Ford Powerstroke last week. I found your forum by searching for a check engine light code, P0015, now I know what it means and from what I read in threads here, I am most likely looking at replacing the magnets on the passenger side. Please tell me I understand, or correct me, but I can replace both sets of solenoids on Bank 1, and B position is exhaust cam, or lower position below the camshaft position sensor. Position A would be on top? Car runs fine and is smooth as a top. I just want to make sure I am buying the right parts.
A little about me, working as an engineer here in Tulsa and my other "car" is a Hayabusa. Thanks for having, great site you have here.

I would replace all the magnets just for reassurance. Theyre about 20 each. You can order from parts.com, rmeuropean.com or mymercedesparts.com. This is a common issue so doing them all at once is the best thing to do imo and keep the oem just in case something happens.

LOL, yes it is. I feel like I am driving a go cart, and I love it. Very quick and solid. I miss the turbo power, but I am loving the mileage. I was spending a 100 a week on fuel. I tried to talk my wife into this car a few years ago when she purchased a 328i. Now she is in an X3 and I have always wanted the 230 Sport. It was the right time and the right deal and I couldnt be happier.
