Thanks. I can't wait until the day I have the W203. It's funny because it was the car I dreamed of for so long, and then I got the W204. Now I know I'll feel good, when I have both. ha-ha.
I think all of your W203s look fantastic. I love the picture thread.

I say get an 03-05 c230. The v6's on the 06-07 might be too similar to your c300. That way, you can use the w203 as an efficient beater. That's what I may be doing with my '03 coupe if/when I get a g8.

Ok, I've found a 2005 C230 Sport. Really clean looking. About 45,000 miles. Would that many miles scare you away?
I'd probably put about 6,000-7,500 a year on it myself.
This Kompressor engine is reliable?

Cool. It's priced high now just cause thats how they do it. I think the 18 like you mention or less is what I would target.
It does have factory bi xenon which is nice. I think it would have a 1 year warranty from MB, and I could add to it if I want.

Yeah, I'll really try to get the extended warranty, since it only has 600 miles left on the factory one, and then the 12 month preowned one will kick in, but I obviously would want more warranty than that.
49,300 miles I think. They have it listed at like $20,500 right now. I wonder what would be a happy place to end up on it, price?
It has sunroof package and lightning package.

maybe its just me but i try to buy the newest car i can afford. seems like people are in love with their 05's and thats cool too. so far i love my car though, i wouldnt have gotten anything else.
i wouldn't be scared by 50k miles on an 05, daily drivers that are on the highway a lot can be some of the best cars to own, especially if the owner takes good care of it. cars that have really low miles or have sat for a while scare me, that's when problems come up. have it checked by a good mechanic, that's your best bet.

I bought mine with 37k miles at $21k + warranty came to something like $24.5k and that was back in july. I'm already at 42k miles and thankfully i haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood).
What options does it have?
Apparently they come with certain packages like the C1-C6 ones. I couldn't find a list of the packages and what is contained in them, but Ryanr317's signature has them listed as part of his setup. Maybe he or someone else can explain better what is in each package.
I'm actually curious about this as i couldn't find it by STFF'ing or googling.

The 2005 I should be able to add the AUX input to though yes? I'll have to read-up on the AUX thread.

I just re-read this thread and have one question: Why would you want two compact sedans? I mean I've driven a W204 C300 and agree with most that it just doesn't compare to the W203 C230K. This makes me ask, why not just trade the W204 for the W203 and spend the extra cash on getting a sports car or something? Call me crazy but I'd rather have a two completely different cars than two that are considerably similar. Whatever floats your boat dude, but IMO... You =
Don't take that personally...
