Parking Lot Fender Bender
someone backed up into my mother-in-law's C320 and it left a scratch on the rear bumper impact strip (the center piece).
I'm gonna get it replaced for her, but I don't know how that piece comes off.
Do I need to remove the WHOLE bumper or can I just remove that one impact strip piece?
Any help and/or directions would be great... Thanks in advance.

2002 C230 Coupe
I looked, the bumper setup looks the same as the Coupe:
Front: pull the strip toward the front of the car (grab the side marker end).
Rear: slightly tear open the rear wheel well cover at about the mid height location, there is a 10mm screw near the top end of the strip. Remove it then pull the strip toward the outside of the car (grab the end pointing the middle of the bumper).
Good luck!
