COMAND Update CD what does it do??
guys,
I was wondering what kind of improvement or update do I get if I insert the Update CD for my COMAND?
I have a Euro COMAND and maybe I can get the Euro Update CD too.
Will that change any of my setting (reset anything), since I have a G Wagon COMAND inside a C Class (with speed pulse attached),

PS: I heard that I have to leave the CD for 1 hr??

...the update takes approx 45 minutes...the only noticeable benefits for you will be "easy spelling" where the non chooseable characters will be blanked out when entering an address...other upgrades are hardly to non noticeable (except for the speeddisplay in the service menu but how often does one enter the service menu?).

I have read on Megacomm forum that the G Wagon Comand can cause problems on the gear box. Is this true as i have one in my c< but i have had no problems to date. Aslo installed the Nokia intergrated phone and the dealer set up thh enav displayes today. All works well
