02 c230 seat question

Hi everyone,

Im new to the forum and was looking around but havent been able to figure this out. So im looking to buy a 02 c230 coupe and it has cloth seats. I really want leather and I was wondering if these seats are the same as the ones in a 05 c230 sedan, as there is a wrecked one that is being parted out. I know the front seats are probably the same but not sure about the rear seats.

Thanks. Any insight would help.

The seats aren't the same design for sure, but I don't know if they'll bolt up or not. The rear seats probably are not compatible.

That said, the 05 C230 doesn't have leather.. it's MB-Tex, aka pleather. It will have leather inserts in front - from what I can tell, only the perforated part of the seat bottom of both fronts are real leather in my car. The rest, including the entire back seat, is MB-Tex

Like Matt said already...the seats have the same design.

But the bolt holes dont line up. So NO, youll need to find coupe seats. Also these cars came with the heated seats as an option..so if you have that option on your car wand want to keep it, you need to find the heated seats too.
