any words on what is to be changed for '04 ?

I am in the middle of looking to buy a '03 C230 compressor sedan for commuting purposes. My old car (a 93 nissan) is about to reach its limit.

Should I wait ?

If you don't mind paying extra for the 04 update, then wait.

some of my interior pieces have bubbled, meaning the plastic has gotten a little deformed. Especially on the speaker covers that cover the speakers inside of the side view mirrors. Also, my door panels airbags, the leather has wrinkled and bubbled as well. I also had a squealing sound that sounded like a bad timing belt or something, but that went away after a couple of weeks.

NWP4LIFE, hmm maybe that happened to me too

I thought I bumped into them or something and dinged them. Of course I can't be really sure because it's not really noticeable.

Other issues:

Burning oil smell coming through from vents, dealer could not reproduce.

"Putt-Putt" noises coming from rear of car when stopped after high-speed driving. A couple of days ago I did and then pulled into my driveway, left the engine running and went back there to see where the noise was coming from and to my surprise it was not the muffler. THe noise came from further down probably near the cat.

Passenger headrest rattles over bumps. Not brought to dealer attention yet.

Front suspension geometry makes car follow road imperfections. A dealer alignment found the car within specs.

CZ

p.s. I like the S/C noise. It's the reason I bought the car.

Trust me, you didn't ding them yourself. My passenger side had dings and dents before anyone even rode in the passenger seat. I don't know if I should even bother to show them, it's not that major, it's just the idea that a BRAND NEW car's interior is detiorating.

Also my window has been squeaking lately when it rolls down.

Electromethod.
Warped rotors? After hard braking, try not be pull your parking brake until the rotors cool off.

Czachari,
About the "putt-putt" sound after agressive driving, most cars make that sound.

Did you get that option? I don't think it's supposed to as stock. The 320 has the memory setting, though.

well... the passenger side mirror is supposed to tile down when u put on reverse? (not on c230k sedan)

by the way, does anyone encounter the problem of (cold?) engine vibrate violently even causing the car to shake when they put on reverse in the morning?

For the passenger side mirror to tilt down during reverse, make sure you have the side mirror adjustment switched to the passenger side (as you are trying to adjust it) and leave it there. If that doesn't work, take it back to the dealer. Make sure you have this adjustment option on the car!

When I had my 230K sedan, yes the engine is loud during cold starts, but I would idle for 4 minutes every morning. If you do this, the engine will run much more smoothly; otherwise, the engine will hold it's revs high before changing gears.

mirror

The mirror option only works if you have power seats and an automatic transmission. At least thats what the dealer told me.
