The Newbie with the Pewter C230
but then who can I talk to on here its ok I don't have time for a Vegas road trip
Sorry for the thread jack I am gone
BTW love your pictures I go to a place called skyline drive up in the mountains about three hours from DC that is beautiful but more green then your pictures.

I really want to do a cross country road trip of the Southwestern part of the U.S.A. with the following legs:
-Wichita, KS to Denver, CO
-Denver, CO to Salt Lake City, UT
-Salt Lake City, UT to Reno, NV
-Reno, NV to San Francisco, CA
-San Francisco, CA to Lake Forest, CA (I have family in Lake Forest, CA)
-Lake Forest, CA to San Diego (I have more family in Escondido, CA which is a little north of S.D.)
-San Diego, CA all the way to San Antonio, TX
-San Antonio, TX to Wichita, KS
But at $3.76 + or - for gas??? That really puts a damper in my road trip budget.
Just another weekend road trip out to western Kansas. These wind turbines are located in Spearville, KS.
Keep going more west and you'll smell cow manure, see cattle, slaughterhouses and big rigs with cattle trailers.
I still want to do a road trip across America but don't have the time for it and money would get tight due to staying in a hotel for a month or two straight.

It's been a while since I'vel last updated, but I've been living on the road on the weekends. Last weekend I took a Saturday morning road trip on one of the highways in KS known as the Flint Hills Scenic Byway.
I stopped in some of the small towns along the way to get some pictures and see some history about the places. Picture quality isn't the greatest as they were taken with my Samsung Epic 4g cell phone.
There is alot of farm land and cattle on this highway. Please excuse the cows mating in the 4th picture =) =)

Along with an old abandoned building I saw as I entered the next small town north of Cottonwood Falls called Strong City.

I purchased a CF lip from Gary@Suvneer along with a set of Strasse R10 Deep Concave wheels with the following specs:
19X8.5F
19X9.5R
Brushed Titanium Centers
Polished Aluminum Lip
Gloss Black Inner Barrels
Hidden Hardware
The sun hasn't came out as of late so I haven't been able to get pictures of it in the daylight, but these will do for now.
