05 C230 Bi-xenon upgrade - Auto folding mirrors
Good evening... i have the 05 US specs C230 kompressor and im interested in upgrading the stock headlights to the original Bi-xenon.. can anyone tell me what does it require other than replacing the whole headlights into the ones that have projectors ? and mine has the auto leveling.. and does the 05 bi-exnon differs than other years ?
My 2nd question is im also thinking of upgrading the stock mirrors to the auto-folding mirrors.. what parts do i need to do it ?

You'll need to car to be coded XENON=Present for propper function. The Auto-folding mirrors require the folding mirrors and switch on dash. It will run you about $900 from STEVE.

For the folding mirrors:
You will also need the passenger side door module (in addition to the two mirror brackets and wiring) as mentioned above
For the headlights:
In addition to the bixenon light assemblies, you will also need to do the level sensors for the front and rear. (it will cost about $600 for the leveling parts in addition to the headlight units). You will also need to get the wire harness (2)for the levelers...it goes from the front end, through the cabin, and to the trunk. The hard part is installing the wire harness because the seats, center console, and front carpet needs to be removed.
Some people choose to just do the headlight units themselves though..

@Oneofakind and capt paul thanks a lot for the usefull info and help.. Capt_paul i'd love to see pictures of your car and the modes on.. plus the interior the dark birdseye maple trim... because my to-do list is similar to yours.
