I called like a dozen dealers yesterday looking for the cheapest place to get a smart key here in socal. Here are the list for those who might need the info:

Amazing how prices would vary. I wonder if the service prices also vary. I am thinking of leaving my car for diagnostics. have anyone just went to the dealer just to have the problem diagnosed and brought it to another shop for fixing? anyone know which dealer is cheapest for this?

the person i bought my car from used his old dealership company and signed it off as a retailer for me. i paid $160, maybe you can try and find a dealer that might help you out like that
