c32 amg brakes question....help please

i am looking at a clk 430AMG rim (2000-2002). the size is 8 1/2J x 17H2 ET30. i want to use it as a spare when i upgrade to c32 amg front brakes. will it fit with no problems.... offset and size? also, i have ET35 offset on my 18" x 8" rims. will they also be cleared? thanks, antonio.

Clearing the calipers is not dependent on the wheel's offset, but actually on the "backspacing." Backspacing is defined as teh amount of space behind the spokes up to the point where the wheel mounts to the hub.

To accurately measure the backspacing of your wheels, lay the wheel face down on a towel (carefully). Then, place 1 ruler (or flat object) horizontally across the center of the wheel towards one of the spokes. From there, take another ruler and in milimeters, measure the distance behind the spoke to the first ruler. This will give you the true backspacing of the wheel.
