do you do your suspension work yourself? if not, where do you go?

///Icon 11-23-2011 11:00 PM

Yes I did the suspension myself. I never noticed you were in the DMV area. Im originally from Hagerstown about an hour out from d.c and 45 min from rockville. But recently moved to Cumberland..

So..... Install the Spacers Yet?
Any New Year Updates/Pics?

///Icon 01-05-2012 05:23 PM

Hey sorry I havent updated much. Just got the spacers 2 days ago. I heard that with the setup usually 10mm is flush but with my 12 mm it's still not where I want it to be. I guess I underestimated the pull I did. Considering selling it or putting it up front and buying a 15-20 mm for the rear. I just washed it today but to dark out now so pics will have to wait till Tom. I ordered some 35w 6k hids from ddm as well. Waiting for them to arrive sometime. It's been snowing alot here lately and really making me consider selling/trading it in for a used range rover.

I woke up this morning to see that it was snowing outside and figured it would be a great chance for a small photo op. Ive had the 12mm spacers on now for awhile and considering putting them up front perhaps and getting 15-20mm for the rear as my pull pushed the fenders out more then I anticipated. Also I am shooting new diff styles and these are more cinematic looks. Not quite happy with the results but Im working on it more. Another mod I received is 35w 6k HIDs from DDM as well and one bulb was blown so I am getting a replacement and Ill take better pics when they are put in.

Mmm what a tasty drop. What kind of camera do you use?

///Icon 01-18-2012 01:28 PM

I use a Canon rebel Xti 400d. Just bought a canon 50mm 1.8 lens really gives a great dof.

a3i 01-18-2012 03:44 PM

Great photos, and car looks great. You dont get any rubbing in the rear?

How bad is the Camber wear?
Both front and back wearing?

///Icon 01-27-2012 05:17 PM

the rear is horrible I think they are almost done for and its been about 3 months or so. I do drive alot and far though so they prob lasted 8k miles

ROLLNNN 01-27-2012 06:23 PM

you should get some rear adjustable camber arms. definitely helps save some tires...
