Cool ///ICON| Hardparked progress

Whats going on everyone. So I have decided to make my own thread on the build and progress of my 05 orion blue C230ss manual. I knew this car was never fast and there is not much as far as performance mods that we can do to out m271 engines. With that understanding I decided to lean more towards form>function. So the journey to a stanced C classe begins. I bought this car is 07 with 59k miles. Now it has 148k, needless to say I will not be throwing alot of money into this car. As of now I have ST180 wheels from Sonictuning 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with 215/40/18f and 225/40/18r stretched tires., I currently have a 5mm spacer up front but will be replacing it with a 10mm and the rear will get a 12-15mm spacer as there is still alot of space in the rear. I am lowered on bilstein shocks and H&R springs with rear cut 1 coil. Im considering cutting the front as well (I know ghetto) but the ride is not bad from what I notice in my driving. Anyways my goals for after winter are CF front lip, c32 sport rear spoiler not c55 no offense to those that have it I just dont like the way it lines up to the trunk light. Let me know what you think and any feedback is welcomed good or bad! Thanks

and before on stock wheels

Lookng good Icon. You should consider selling your setup and just go with h&r coilovers so you can adjust your height. Think Im going to get my CCW Classics after the new year hopefully, itll be my xmas/bday gift to myself lol going with classics over lm20 i think we'll see when I put in the call. So my wheels might be going up for sale in the next couple of months.

I don't think I have ever seen an Orion blue sedan. Jealous. Also you must have a very early build 2005 because you have the 4-piston front calipers from the 04.5 C230, unless you did that yourself.

Love the color! I also really like the wheels, but it is a little low in the rear for my tastes. I like the raked stance that these cars have, and even lowered, I like to see them keep that stance. Nice photography. What camera do you use?

Thanks for all the great compliments and feedback guys. I do want to go coilovers but Ill have to settle for used ones as I dont feel like spending to much. I have H&R coilovers on the m3 and really dont like the stiffness for DD. However I do have 20's on the rear with only a 25 profile tire.. Here is another shot from another angle from that shoot.

Nope no rubbing, My fenders are rolled and pulled and they still have a good amount of space between the rim and fenders/quarter panel. Im going to space it out here sometime soon though.

Wow, The rear wheels have a pretty nice Concave to them!
How is the ride quality with the low profile stretched tires?

Thanks guys, I never really got any pics of the stretch and fitment so figured Ill shoot some quick ones to post up. The front is flush but I would like maybe another 5mm on there. With the rear being rolled and pulled I def have a good bit of room to work with still. Im thinking of a 12mm in the rear. Ride quality I can def tell is not as good as with regular sized tires but then again I feel that with cut springs the quality on turns theres alot of body roll. But as soon as I can I will be upgrading to some coilovers.
