You are very vague in the problem you are experiencing. Instead of venting your frustration on this forum, you should state the problem you are having with your car. For the most part, the dealership mechanics are very knowledgible individuals.
In order to pull a CEL code, just go to an auto parts store, where they will pull the ode for you; or just purchase a code reader.
We forum readers cannot help you if you do not state what exactly is hapening to your car.

my sister's boyfriend ended up having an app. on his phone called "torque pro" that i think he paid $40 for and they also shipped to him the cord for the ecu. so he read that the car had a misfire in cylinder 2. the app is free, you just need the cord. i'm not sure what the pro version does compared to the free version, but look into it.

the 3 grand was for a "supercharger actuator" ....i was yelling at the guy saying your not f-ing me around and i left...never had the issue again
the dealership in orland park, il
i have a code but its only for the thermostat (still trying to replace it)
the thing is over the past year i've heard things pinging inside the exhaust..now my muffler is hissy ...
when cold or sometimes warm the car stumbles (glen said not having the right air/fuel ratio)
right now performance sucks

As we posted in the other thread, you need to replace the thermostat. It's simple and cheap.
Glyn suggested possible catalytic converter problems. That could cause poor performance depending on the nature, but would likely throw a code. So would the supercharger actuator. You definitely need a STAR computer. Take it to a different dealer for diagnostics as a last resort.

Just saying if you need star only dealers and a select few mechanics have it, instead of flipping out at a tech why didnt you ask them to show you why it needed it and on the computer what promted the thought it needed to be replaced? If you dont know whats wrong how do you know they dont know how to fix it, its an MB dealer, they kinda do this stuff all day, just sayin.
